Every story begins with a world-building skeleton designed by a real author — an outline, a setting, and character profiles, each requiring at least 500 words of genuine thought. This ensures every story starts with a clear conflict direction and real character depth, rather than randomly assembled text.

In this world, AI acts as a writing collaborator: it turns the author's skeleton into flowing chapter prose. But every key decision — how the conflict develops, what dilemma a character faces, how a voting option is framed — is made by the human author. This is the fundamental difference between My AI Novel and pure AI-generated fiction platforms: every story here has a real author driving its narrative spine, and AI is simply a tool for speeding up prose and translation, never a replacement for the author's creative judgment.

Before a story goes live on My AI Novel, the author completes three core design elements — the outline, the world's background, and character profiles — each requiring at least 500 words. This guarantees enough conflict tension to sustain a 20-chapter arc before a single chapter is even generated. Once the skeleton is confirmed, AI generates the prose within that framework, and the author reviews and edits every chapter to keep tone, pacing, and character arcs aligned with the original intent.

Once the first chapter is published, the title, cover image, and the three skeleton elements are permanently locked. This protects the story's integrity and preserves the trust readers build once they start following and voting on the plot. It's also a reminder to authors: the world needs to be thought through before writing begins, not revised on the fly.

Every story is fixed at 20 chapters, with reader voting opening at chapters 7 and 14. Authors prepare two options, A and B, for each voting node, and readers can vote without creating an account. When a voting option reaches the required threshold — or the voting window closes — the system settles the result, and the story proceeds according to the majority choice. This means every reader's participation directly shapes which ending the story ultimately reaches.

My AI Novel supports six languages: Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Thai, and Spanish. Authors write in their native language, the system helps translate it into English for the author's review, and then automatically translates it into the remaining languages — letting the same story reach and be voted on by readers around the world. An author writing in Traditional Chinese can have their world and characters read by Japanese or Spanish-speaking readers, all participating in the same voting node to decide what happens next.

My AI Novel's membership system doesn't separate readers from authors — anyone can switch roles at any time. Today you might be a reader voting on someone else's story; tomorrow you could start building your own world as an author. Readers can follow authors they enjoy and get notified when new chapters or stories go live; authors can see how readers voted and engaged, using it as a reference for pacing their narrative. This shared identity system makes the whole platform feel more like a community of co-creators than a one-way content pipeline.

Every work published on My AI Novel is fully owned by its author. We position ourselves as a publishing venue plus AI tooling provider — we never claim ownership over any content, nor do we interfere with an author's creative decisions. Authors can manage their stories, chapters, and voting settings at any time; if they no longer want their work on the platform, they can request account deletion, and everything is fully removed with no backup retained.
